I believe the most meaningful celebrations deserve stationery that tells your unique story. As an artist and designer, I've dedicated my career to creating paper goods that surprise, delight, and set the tone for your extraordinary wedding.
My Journey
How did I become a stationery designer? The short answer is that I’ve been fueled by creative pursuits all my life. My mom will tell you that our “art box” filled with pipe cleaners, google-y eyes, and paper punchers was in use (with contents all over the counter!) more than it was tucked away in the cabinet. I spent all of my formative years wearing out ballet shoes, which not only instilled in me a love of the arts and music, but also taught me about discipline. In college at the University of Georgia, I majored in Scientific Illustration, where I learned to paint in watercolor and began training in digital illustration and design programs. I continued on to a Master’s program in Medical Illustration. Years later, I was newly engaged and looking for a stationer to create traditional invitations with a touch of watercolor whimsy for our wedding. I couldn’t find quite what I was looking for, so I decided to get out my paint brushes and do it myself. Now several years on, my work has been featured in Over the Moon, The Knot, Wedding Chicks, and bridal magazines.
Outside of the Studio
When I’m not designing , you can find me cooking and spending time with my husband, my two little ones, and our two chocolate labs in Montgomery, AL (we recently relocated here from Virginia!).
These are a few of my favorite things:
the beach (specifically the Gulf Coast)
cooking & entertaining
almond milk lattes & cortados
travel
people (Enneagram 1 with a strong 2 wing here!)
Football Saturdays - Go Dawgs!
Beyond Stationery
I illustrate a children’s book series that my Aunt writes about her dog Amos. It’s a family affair! We think our books are pretty neat. Check them out here: AmostheDog.com
Giving Back
Every day I get to wake up and work with some of the best clients around: brides, wedding planners, and retail shop owners. You all allow me to do what I love, and for that, I give back. I currently serve on Richmond’s Junior Board for World Pediatric Project, and I support both local and national organizations including the National Wildlife Federation, Humane Society of the US, Little Hands Virginia, and Greater Richmond SCAN.
